Appeal from Lviv for materials needed for cultural heritage protection

Information about how organisations can support the Center to Rescue Ukraine's Cultural Heritage

The trustees, staff and members of Icon are devastated by the events unfolding in Ukraine and by the terrible suffering of the people and the sad loss of civilian lives. Although our primary care is for the safety and wellbeing of the people of Ukraine, we remain concerned about the continuing threat to the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine.

In early March 2022 our colleagues at ICOMOS-Ukraine Heritage in Crisis Working Group provided information on the materials needed to help protect Ukraine's cultural heritage. However, we are aware that the situation is changing on a daily basis and that the needs of the Center will also change as time passes. We will therefore update this page with new information as it becomes available.

In the meantime we strongly encourage donors to contact the Center before sending materials to ensure that your kind donations reach their intended destination and can be well used.
