1. Icon members can pay their membership fees by cheque, credit card, PayPal, or Direct Debit.
2. Direct Debits can be set up to take payment on either an annual or a quarterly basis.
3. The membership team are automatically notified by BACS of any Direct Debit mandates that are amended, cancelled, or referred or take action to resolve this within ten days.
4. Icon members whose Direct Debit payments are cancelled or referred will be considered to be in arrears, and will be responsible for completing alternative payment arrangements immediately.
5. If a direct debit mandate is cancelled or referred, Icon will notify the member by email. The member will then have the option to submit a new Direct Debit mandate form, or to complete alternative payment arrangements for the full membership period.
6. If the member has not responded within five business days, Icon will make two attempts to reach them by phone.
7. Members who have not responded within ten business days after notification will be considered to have lapsed, and their membership benefits will be terminated immediately.
8. Should a Direct Debit be cancelled or referred, and a new mandate enacted, only for this to be cancelled or referred at the next Direct Debit collection, the member will be considered to be in arrears.
9. Payment of outstanding membership fees will be due in full for members whose Direct Debit collections are cancelled or referred two consecutive times. Direct debit will no longer be a payment option for these members.
