Have you ever wondered where European and British Standards for Conservation come from? Who decides what standards are needed, how do they get written and what kind of information do they contain?

This seminar, presented by Jane Henderson ACR from Cardiff University and Isobel Griffin ACR from the National Galleries of Scotland, will answer these questions and explain how conservators in the UK can get involved in the creation and reviewing of conservation standards. We will also discuss accessing standards, including a handy tip on how to read them for free!
