We are looking to recruit a new Chair and Secretary during the AGM, to join our friendly, enthusiastic team. We’d also welcome anyone hoping to join the committee as a co-opted member. We meet every 2-3 months, generally online with some in-person meetings.
We welcome members with an interest in gilding and decorative surfaces from any stage of their career, including students and new graduates. As we mainly meet online, we’d also welcome people outside the UK. Being a member of the committee is a fantastic opportunity to network with other conservators and to contribute to our programme of group visits, lectures, and training opportunities. The position of Chair would suit somebody interested in leading, overseeing and advocating for the committee. The position of Secretary would befit someone highly organised, who enjoys networking and would prefer a role with clear responsibilities.
If you are interested in either of these roles, please send a brief statement to [email protected] by Tuesday 13th June. Please email use if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!
After the AGM and talk, in-person attendees are invited to stay for a network event with colleagues. Refreshments will be provided.
