Below we have highlighted some of the key actions we are taking and any impact it will have for you.
Application and assessment process
The Icon Accreditation Committee will meet remotely at the end of April 2020 to review assessment reports and new applications for Accreditation. There will therefore be no impact on the feedback to candidates.
For those members who are at the application stage and progressing towards assessments we will monitor the situation closely and will continue to follow Government advice and update individuals as appropriate.
At this stage there is no impact on the deadlines for candidates submitting in the October 2020 round.
Accreditation clinics
Accreditation clinics are designed for members who are applying for Accreditation. Through the session we will run through the complete accreditaiton process and asnwer any quesitons you have. These are now available now as webinars
Icon Mentors
Mentoring certainly can continue, however all mentors and mentees must ensure they follow current Government advice and seek to meet remotely, making the most of email, phone calls or the many free online meeting facilities such as Skype, FaceTime and Zoom.

CPD recall 2020
This will progress as planned. The key dates are as follows:
- 6-7 May - Selected ACRs receive recall by email
- 6 July - Deadline for completed reviews
- 7-8 July - Reviews sent to CPD readers
- 14 September - Readers deadline for finished feedback reports
- 15-16 September - Feedback reports returned to ACRs
Training and workshops
We are monitoring the situation closely, however inevitably events may be cancelled. We are actively looking at how events can be delivered online, and will be updating members in due course.
