About the Role

As assistant paper conservator, you’ll be a part of a well-established conservation team, reporting to a conservator. You’ll play an essential role carrying out remedial treatment and supporting preventive conservation in your specialist area. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference.

About You

We’re looking for:

  • A recognised qualification in Conservation.
  • Proven experience of treating museum/ archive collections to a professional standard, with full consideration of practical, access and ethical issues.
  • Proven experience of general collection care and preventive conservation.
