1.30pm – 3.30pm BST, 22 June 2021 ‐ 2 hours
Workshop
As you work towards accreditation, you are honing your skills, and showing the amazing work you do.
However, to be successful, it is not always as easy as just being good at what you do.
Having the confidence to own your amazingness, to speak up about what you are capable of and to put yourself out there for projects and opportunities, is imperative in shining and thriving as a conservator, whether in your own business or in a larger organisation.
So many skilled conservators fall through the cracks of obscurity when they should really be celebrated for the value they bring. Maybe you feel that you don’t feel confident to stand up and shout about your skills, or ask for that project.
In this session we will explore why we hold ourselves back, and what we can do to create more visibility, authority and opportunities for conservation and ourselves.
