Studio Manager 

Due to a high volume of work, we are looking for a manager/director designate to primarily assist with running the studio and being an integral part of the administrative and technical activities required for liaising with clients and project managing contracts.  

Having prior experience of the profession is essential.

Job Summary 

You will be at the heart of our operations, supporting our team in ensuring the smooth running of the business.  You will play a vital role in ensuring each customer has a positive experience.

You will have at least 5 years studio experience in stained glass conservation, leadlight glazing and site work.  Other skills, such as painting, surface decoration and Icon accreditation will be welcome and taken into consideration for your salary, as would prior/existing studio management.

You will be the main contact point for our customers, delivering exceptional customer service by promptly assisting with any queries or concerns.

 

  • Vehicle driving is essential (due to rural location of the office) as is a full clean UK licence for driving the works vans (manual gear box).
  • Strong organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • General administration including electronic filing of reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Articulate and numerate with excellent communication skills (spoken and written English)
    • An approachable personality with a willingness to tackle a range of tasks.
