Mentoring

We are looking to set-up a new scheme where Committee members that have been in post for a while and are confident in their roles, can offer to support new Committee members and mentor them whilst they establish themselves in post.

Training

The Groups and Public Programme Team are putting together a series of in-person and online training sessions to support your work and help upskill you in new areas.

Training sessions that have been suggested:

• Treasurer Support
• Event Management / Event Project Management
• Facilitating for New Audiences
• Creating material that is engaging, language/content, material delivered differently 
• Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
• Public Speaking
• How to choose audiences, audience mapping, reach, in depth
• Safeguarding
• How to run a successful hybrid event
• How to showcase Icon at your event

This programme of workshops will be promoted shortly and Committees will be contacted directly about the opportunities.
