Icon Scotland Group grant for Icon Accreditation

Icon Scotland Group is committed to raising the standards of conservation and increasing the fund of skills available in Scotland. The Group is therefore keen to support early-career practitioners in all subject areas in their move towards Icon Accreditation. Members living and working in Scotland are invited to apply for a grant towards the costs of the Accreditation process, thanks to a generous donation to the Group and its predecessor organisation SSCR by an anonymous donor.

Up to four awards of £350 each are available per annum. Grant applications are then assessed by a small panel drawn from the ISG Committee and Observers; all applications are treated confidentially. Successful applicants will then be liable to pay a reduced fee on submission at their applicaiton forms. Successful candidates will be notified within a fortnight of receipt of their application.

Icon Scotland Group grant applicants should demonstrate that the candidate:

  • is a full member of Icon and of the Scotland Group
  • is resident and working (or actively seeking work) in Scotland
  • is not in receipt of more than 50% funding towards total accreditation costs from their employer or other external funding sources

Please fill in the form associated and email it to the Chair of the Icon Scotland Group.
