We are delighted to announce the launch of the Collections Care Stimulus Fund. Made possible through the generous support of the Radcliffe Trust and others, the fund is available to support the care and conservation of collections at a time when budgets for the conservation of collections and objects are diminishing.
The scheme will support museums, galleries, cultural heritage institutions or museums services in the UK access one of eight £1,250 grants to enable them to commission Icon Accredited members to undertake conservation activities.
We are looking for projects that focus on:
- Implementing preventive conservation measures
- Undertaking remedial conservation
- Undertaking digitisation activities
The deadline for applications is 26th February 2021 at 5pm.
