We’d really love your insights! Survey about Creating a Standardized Method for Re-housing a Doll Collection
Hello everyone,
We would like to invite you, as a collections care professional, to participate in this survey. The survey will take about 7 minutes to complete.
A long-term collections care project is currently underway at the Tennessee State Museum in preparation for a large-scale move to a new storage facility. While packing the collection offers many challenges, dolls present a particular conundrum due to their complex material makeup and varied shapes and sizes. Your anonymous responses to this survey will aid in the development of an easily replicated and standardized packing method for dolls in the TSM collection.
Survey results and the subsequent devised packing method will be compiled into guidelines and will be shared with interested parties upon request. Since all responses are anonymous, any participant’s name, job title, and institution’s name will not be shared. Any questions should be directed to Kayla Silvia* at [email protected].
