Archaeologist no longer require CSCS Cards
The Construction Skills Certification Scheme has decided that archaeologist are not a construction occupation and are therefore no longer eligible to apply for CSCS cards. This will take effect from the1st May 2024.
Archaeologists will be allowed access to construction sites to carry out archaeological work without a CSCS card. This will indubitably affect archaeological conservators working on construction sites in the UK.
