The Icon Emerging Professionals Network and the EACF/SHARE Conservation Network are coming together to host a virtual workshop and discussion panel on the Conservator’s Portfolio on Tuesday 28th September 2021.
We are looking for someone (or a team of two) to lead on the first part of the workshop outlining the practical steps and tips to consider when putting together your own portfolio. This would be approximately 45 minutes long. It could include aspects such as what to include, how to present it, digital and/or physical versions, what programmes/websites are available to help you, layout, captions, and images.
We are not expecting an expert on conservation portfolios nor do we expect a perfect example of a portfolio (if it exists)! We would like someone who feels confident to talk about them and has some recent experience of putting together/revising their own, and is happy to share what has worked or hasn’t worked. Equally, it could be someone who has experience of viewing many portfolios in interviews.
The EACF/SHARE Conservation Network will be able to pay £150 for your time and expertise to prepare and deliver this session.
