The Hamilton Kerr Institute is a department of the Fitzwilliam Museum, University of Cambridge and is one of the world’s leading centres for teaching and research in the conservation of easel paintings.
It undertakes the conservation of paintings and polychromy in the Fitzwilliam Museum's collections as well as for other clients. It also carries out research into conservation techniques, materials and techniques of paintings.
