Senior Conservator - Director, Freeman and Young Conservation

Sarah gained her BA History of Art with Material Studies at University College London and went on to train for her career in Conservation at the Courtauld Institute of Art, where she graduated in 2012.

Following her graduation she completed an internship at Stichting Restauratie Atelier Limburg (SRAL) in Maastricht, Netherlands and went on to complete an ongoing project at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) in Mumbai.

After gaining experience in private practice. Sarah became an accredited member of ICON in 2017 and set up Freeman and Young Conservation Ltd in 2024 with fellow conservator Jennifer Young.
