Recyling can be confusing! Join us to unpack it as we share tips for a more sustainable future
Join us for another relaxed virtual get-together where we chat all things sustainability in conservation.
These socials are informal, friendly, and open to anyone! Think of it as a casual conversation with colleagues, just with a sustainability twist.
This time, we’re talking recycling! With changing rules, regulations and collection methods, knowing what can be recycled, where it should go, and how best to manage it can sometimes feel a little confusing. From kerbside collections and co-mingled recycling to two-stream systems and workplace recycling requirements, there’s plenty to get our heads around!
As always, this isn’t an expert-led session, but a space to share, question and learn from one another. Whether you have a well-established recycling system, a clever trick that works in your studio, or simply questions about what goes where, you’re very welcome to join the conversation. The aim is to pool our knowledge and experiences, explore what others are doing, and leave with a few new ideas for what we can do both as individuals and as conservation professionals.
Although we’ll be referring to UK legislation and guidance, conservators from anywhere in the world are welcome! We’d love to hear how recycling works in your country, studio or institution, and what we might learn from different approaches and local systems.
Bring your questions, experiences and top recycling tips, we’d love to hear from you!
