Discover the Rosslyn Chapel and how the Rosslyn Chapel Trust looks after the building, its contents, its congregation and its visitors in this tour.
As well as a general introduction to the chapel from Ian Gardner, Director of the Rosslyn Chapel Trust, there will be 2 areas of focus:
- Ongoing stone conservation at the Chapel - Alex Kelly, Eden Conservation
- Relative humidity control in the chapel - Rob Thomson, Preventive Conservator
We’ll meet outside the entrance to the chapel at 10.30am. The tour and talks will be until around midday.
Tea, coffee & traybakes will be provided after that (included in the cost of the ticket) where there will be a chance to meet with fellow attendees, hosts and speakers. Afterwards attendees are free to explore the chapel at their leisure.
