Open letter from conservation and heritage science university staff on strikes
On 24th November over 70,000 staff at 150 universities across the UK begin three days of strike action over attacks on pay, working conditions and pensions.
This will affect many of the conservation courses which support the development of heritage and conservation professionals. We want you to understand that it is because we are invested in the future of heritage and conservation that we have reluctantly decided to take this action.
The letter below has been signed by academics from many of the UK's leading conservation courses and offers students an explanation of why they are supporting the strikes.
