And the winner is...!

The results are in and we are are pleased to announce that the recipient of The Icon Journal Award 2018 for her contribution to Vol. 41 of the Journal of the Institute of Conservation is Objects conservator Pei-Chi Wu.

Pei-Chi Wu's article, 'Utilisation of essential oils for wooden sculpture conservation at Juming Museum', describes research undertaken to find a non-toxic compounds to protect outdoor wooden sculptures in conditions of high humidity, and reports on positive results achieved using selected oils naturally found in different varieties of wood.  Congratulations Pei-Chi!
