Icon is inviting lapsed ACRs to take advantage of a limited-time amnesty to reinstate their accredited status.
We know that life gets busy, and that overdue CPD records or past membership arrears can sometimes hold you back from reinstating your Accredited status. That’s why we’re making it easier for you to rejoin and reconnect with our professional community.
The amnesty is running from Sunday 1 March 2026 - Tuesday 30 June 2026.
During this time individuals will be asked to complete and submit a full CPD recall in line with our current CPD requirements. Accredited status will be reinstated upon payment of the current membership fee.
For any ACR's retired from practice, you may also wish to consider Emeritus membership, which allows you to retain recognition of your professional achievements and use the post-nominals ACR (Emeritus).
Reinstating your ACR status ensures continued professional recognition and connection with the conservation community.
Benefits also include:
To take advantage of this amnesty, just arrange payment of the current membership year’s fee during the amnesty period. Once that’s done, your status will be reinstated and you can submit your CPD recall at the next cycle, which starts 1st May 2026.
After the amnesty period ends, applications will be processed under the standard Lapsed ACRs Reinstatement Policy (07.04). If you’re unsure about eligibility or have questions about the CPD recall process, our Membership team is here to help just get in touch.
*This opportunity is not available to individuals whose Accredited status was withdrawn through disciplinary or professional conduct processes.
