Jordan is currently Associate Conservator of Photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Jordan holds an MA in the conservation of works of art on paper and a BA in fine art photography from Northumbria University, England, and her love for photography, specifically analogue photography, is what lead her to pursue a career in photograph conservation.  Her conservation training includes internships at the Amsterdam City Archives, The Netherlands, The Center for Research Collections, Edinburgh, and an Icon internship in Photograph Conservation hosted by The National Archives and Tate Gallery, London. Jordan’s research interests are focused on the preservation of modern and contemporary photographic materials, particularly conservation issues related to fine art inkjet prints, and she enjoys participating in outreach and educational activities.

Lauren is a freelance photograph conservator in Munich and previously worked at the V&A and HRP, helping to preserve their photographic collections.

Sophie is a Conservator who first studied an MA in Egyptology and Near East at UCL where she learned archaeobotany before pursuing an MA in Conservation of Archaeological and Museum Objects at Durham University. She then volunteered as a Conservator at Durham Castle and is currently employed by York Archaeology where she treated and assessed museum artefacts and archaeological objects from terrestrial and maritime sites. She recently participated in the Sutton Hoo Bromeswell’s bucket project, and worked for diverse exhibitions such as the Gloucester and the Hull Minster’s Revival – Back to Life exhibition. 

Paula graduated as a photograph conservator holding a Master of science in Conservation and Restoration in Cultural Heritage and an Advanced Professional Programme certification from the University of Amsterdam in 2024. Currently, she is working at the Victoria and Albert Museum as part of the team responsible for the digitalisation of the Royal Photographic Society.

Nicole trained as a Book Conservator at West Dean College.  She has worked as a Project Conservator at The National Archives and Edinburgh University as well as completing an Internship at The National library of Ireland. Most recently she has worked as a Conservator at Birmingham University before setting up independently.

Mira Gogova is a freelance paper conservator based in London, with over 15 years’ experience working with historic and contemporary works on paper across museums, galleries and private practice. She trained in Conservation of Works of Art on Paper at Camberwell College of Arts. Alongside her wider paper conservation practice, she has a long-standing interest in photography and is keen to develop more in-depth experience in the care and treatment of historic and contemporary photographic collections.

Yue is a PhD researcher at the University of Westminster. She holds an MA in Conservation, an MA in Curating, and a BA in Documentary Photography, all from the University of the Arts London (UAL). She has a particular interest in photography and photographic conservation. Yue is also the founder of the Female Photography Foundation (UK) and the China Institute for Photographic Conservation(CIPC). 

Luisa Casella is a photograph conservator based in Ithaca, NY. She earned her degree from the Instituto Politécnico de Tomar in Portugal and began her career at Luis Pavão Limitada, then the country's leading private photograph conservation practice. From 2005 to 2007 she was a Fellow of the Andrew W. Mellon Advanced Residency Program in Photograph Conservation at George Eastman House and the Image Permanence Institute in Rochester, NY, and from 2007 to 2010 she was the inaugural Andrew W. Mellon Research Scholar in Photograph Conservation at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 2011 she joined the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin as Photograph Conservator, followed by an appointment as conservator of photographs and works on paper at West Lake Conservators from 2013 to 2023. She founded Upstate Conservation Services in 2025. A Fellow of the American Institute for Conservation, she remains active in treatment, teaching, outreach, and disaster response, and has held leadership roles within AIC's specialty groups.
