Learn more through this free film screening, presented by Chris Packham with contributions from Deborah Meaden and other celebrities. Hear from scientists, healthcare professionals and government advisors about the risk of climate change and what we can do about it, and join the call for more government action.

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. The UK faces a growing climate and nature emergency. Yet most people have never been fully briefed on what it means for our lives, our economy and our future. This film from the National Emergency Briefing sets out the risks facing the nation - and the credible, positive responses available - in a clear and accessible account. There is clear evidence that urgent action will strengthen our economy, resilience, and quality of life. Climate Change is affecting the collections and heritage we love, but action can still be taken to minimise that.

This screening will be hosted by ICON’s Sustainability group. There are two screenings to target our international members. Let’s take some time to zoom out from our meetings and microscopes and take a look at the bigger-picture and ask “What can we do to protect our collections and prevent future damage and disasters”?
