Gwendoline R. Fife considers possible steps toward greater sustainability within the conservation of paintings

This seminar explains solvent modelling as applied within conservation research for oil paint films and examines the data obtained, the interpretation of such data and possible implications for the conservator in terms of solvent selection, and the application of green(er) solvents in conservation practice.

There will be a 55 minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of discussion.
