Join one of our expert Castle guides and uncover the history behind the most besieged place in Britain.
This tour will take you through the Castle and include a visit to the newly re-opened Crown Room, where the Senior Metals Conservator will speak about the recent projects to conserve and re-display the Honours of Scotland. The tour will conclude with a visit to the Great Hall, where conservation of the arms and armour is underway.
Please note that the Castle is up on a hill, so we would recommend getting to the drawbridge a bit early (16:15) to make sure everyone has arrived in time for the start. As the tour will take place around closing there won’t be time for any self-visit after the tour finishes.
