The Icon Photographic Materials Group is delighted to announce, as part of Icon24 Conference, a day event at the newly reopened National Portrait Gallery.
For the first time in the NPG’s history, photography was also integrated into the permanent galleries. During the same period, the NPG also undertook a major overhaul of its photographic negatives stores. In this event, the NPG’s Photographic Conservator, Sarah Allen, will talk about the conservation considerations during both projects, and will give attendees a tour of the newly created laboratory and stores.
