Icon & Historic England: Carbon Net Zero Roundtable Discussion

Join our roundtable discussion on what carbon net zero means for organisations working in the field of cultural heritage conservation

Historic England and Icon are hosting a small roundtable discussion on what carbon net zero means for organisations working in the field of cultural heritage conservation

Historic England is keen to support micro, small and medium sized heritage organisations in England on their journey towards reaching the country’s goal of net carbon zero.  We know that organisations are at different stages of the journey. Some may be just thinking about how to start, others may be measuring their carbon footprint or writing action plans and introducing changes to their businesses.

Historic England is undertaking some sector consultation to find out at what stage organisations are at on their journey, what issues they may be facing and what type of support they need. There is a survey out now - https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/X8E3CQ/, and the project lead, Dan Miles, is organising a number of online roundtable discussions to find out in more depth some of the issues that may be affecting the sector.

We would like to invite members of Icon to join in a discussion to talk through the journey to carbon net zero and to discuss any specific issues associated with the conservation of cultural heritage.
