Heritage Science Group: Lab Tour at UCL

The heritage science team at UCL are opening their lab doors to Icon members.

Icon Heritage Science Group and Heritage Science team at Institute of Sustainable Heritage, University College London are delighted to invite Icon members to a tour of their Bloomsbury campus lab facilities.

Attendees will be guided through the various analytical equipment used by heritage science researchers, how these techniques are applied to heritage objects, and the current research projects being undertaken by UCL ISH staff and students.

Places are limited to 10 so booking is essential.

This tour is part of the Icon Heritage Science Group 2023 AGM, and will be followed by the AGM and an evening lecture "Liquid chromatography – mass spectrometry (LC-MS): a focus on dye analysis" by Dr Diego Tamburini, Polymeric and Modern Organic Materials Scientist at The British Museum hosted online and in-person at The British Library.
