Heritage Hangout✨: A New Leaf

A new academic year can feel like a natural opportunity to turn over a new leaf, start a new chapter, and think about where you want your professional journey to take you. Join us for Heritage Hangout✨: A New Leaf, an informal, focused social networking session for early career professionals in conservation and heritage.

Whether you're just starting out, transitioning into a new role, or looking to build on the experience you've already gained, this session is a chance to connect with peers, reflect on your professional journey, and consider what you’d like this new chapter to look like.

Running from 7–8 p.m., this hour-long session will create space for informal and meaningful conversation. We’ll encourage you to talk openly about your career development, aspirations, experiences, and the challenges that can come with navigating the early stages of a career in conservation.

We’ll also be inviting your thoughts on how the Emerging Professionals Group (EPG) can better support you as you grow and develop within the field. What would you value most from the EPG? What opportunities, conversations, or support would help you as you take this next step in your professional journey?

Whether you’re looking for advice, hoping to make new connections, navigating a transition, or simply wanting a space to pause and reflect on your professional path, A New Leaf is an opportunity to start the new academic year surrounded by people who understand where you are and where you’re heading.

Turn over a new leaf and take the first step into your next chapter. 🌱

We look forward to seeing you there!
