Bottesford church contains one of the largest and finest collections of funerary monuments anywhere in England ranging in date from c.1300 to the later 17th century, with many monuments attributed to the Earls of Rutland. National Rail serves Bottesford from both Nottingham and Grantham, but with an infrequent service. The cost, including coffee and tea on arrival is £15.
