The Dynamic Objects Group invites you to an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour from the HMS Victory Co
Here, a team of shipwrights, riggers, archaeologists, conservators and heritage scientists are working together to repair and preserve the ship to allow people to enjoy HMS Victory for another 50 years. During this tour, you will meet members of the Conservation Team caring for HMS Victory, where you will receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the ongoing works - right up close to the hull itself.
The tour is free to attend and there is space for a total of 15 people on the tour. Due to the scaffold nature of this tour, you will be provided a Hard Hat, Hi-Vis Vest and Steel Toe Cap Shoes. We recommend wearing sensible clothing.
We will all meet by the visitor entrance at 11:30AM and walk up to HMS Victory together. The address of the visitor entrance is: Portsmouth Historic Dockyard HM Naval Base (PP66), HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, PO1 3NH. The nearest train station is Portsmouth Harbour and there is parking nearby (PO1 3GW).
Please note that booking onto this tour does not give you access to the other Portsmouth Historic Dockyard attractions.
