These monthly lunchtime ‘drop in sessions’ have been running online since early 2021 and usually take place on the third Friday in the month. There isn't a formal agenda, so feel free to bring up any topic you wish. We're interested to hear about your experiences and to understand more about the issues that members face in their workplaces. We’d also welcome ideas or suggestions for actions that Icon can take to support the conservation profession.
In October we would like to focus on the experiences of SME employers in the conservation sector. Members who run small to medium sized private practices are invited to join Sara Crofts for a chat about what it is like to run a business e.g. how you deal with issues around recruiting and employing staff, top tips for selling your services to clients, coping with regulation etc.
We are also keen to explore whether there is interest in setting up a new Icon Network for this group of practitioners.
