Current Opportunities at Icon

 

Job title:  Digital Content Officer
Location:   Icon’s main office, London
Responsible to:  Membership Manager
Hours:  Part-time, 14 hours per week over 2 days
Salary:  Pro-rata to £25,000 per annum full time equivalent depending on
experience (i.e. £10,000 for 14 hours), plus 6% pension contribution
Term:  12 month fixed term contract commencing as soon as possible

Icon is recruiting a part-time Digital Content Officer to assist with implementation of Icon's digital media strategy, and the migration to a new website.

Icon's mission is to raise public awareness of the cultural, social and economic value of caring for our heritage and to champion high standards of conservation in the UK. Icon is the lead membership body for the conservation of cultural heritage. The Institute's growing, 2,500-strong membership embraces the wider conservation community, including professional conservators in all disciplines.

The post-holder will be responsible for delivering all day-to-day aspects of Icon's digital media strategy, maintaining and updating the Icon website; maintaining Icon's social media profile including Twitter and Facebook; supporting the development of the new website and managing the site once the migration is complete.

Project name: Evaluation of the HLF/Icon training bursary scheme 2006 - 2015

Icon (the Institute of Conservation, which is the Client) is seeking to appoint a consultant to evaluate Icon’s Heritage Lottery Fund Training Bursaries Programme HB - 5 – 00460, New routes to learning through work-based training, from 2006 – 2015. This scheme will come to an end on 30 June 2015 and Icon is required to provide HLF with an evaluation report on the inputs and outcomes of the bursary scheme and its lasting legacy.

The project outcome will be an evaluation report which will need to be delivered to the Client by 15 June 2015. Further details can be found on the Icon website - Jobs File.
