Icon welcomes individuals and organisations from all backgrounds who identify with the conservation and preservation of our cultural heritage.  Our membership embraces the entire conservation community as well as members of the public who are keen to learn more or show their support for conservation work.

Since 2006 Icon has managed 100 Heritage Lottery Funded interns, 44 externally funded interns and 2 Fellowships though other grant-making bodies or employer funding

To date, of the 146 internships hosted 20 are currently on-going Click here to see profiles.

Of the remiaing 106 completed intenships to date,

  • 80% are employed with the Cultural Heritage Sector
  • 10% are self-employed, and
  •   6% have continued with further training
