Welcome to ICON Photographic Materials Group webpages.

The ICON Photographic Materials Group is a subgroup of the institute of conservation (ICON) and we aim to represent the interests of our membership within that organisation. We have organised a number of training events, lectures, visits and conferences since our inception, and we are concentrating on developing this programme over the coming year.

A Guide to These Pages

The Officers & Committee page provides contact information and a brief profile for each of your committee members. If you are enthusiastic about photograph conservation and you think you might like to be more actively involved in the work of the group then please get in touch.

The updated Resources page provides links to useful webpages and includes an ongoing bibliography of publications related to the conservation of photographic materials. We'd like to invite our members to contribute to this so if you have any suggestions for useful websites or recent publications send the details in an email to Louisa Coles or Saya Miles (contact details below).

We have a number of events for 2013/2014 in the pipeline, so do keep an eye on our News & Events pages for further details. These pages also provide information about training offered by other organisations so again, if you would like to see your event on our pages, please get in touch.
